Personality: Celty spent most of her life with a very single-minded view of life. Her focus was only on completing standard dullahan tasks, such as dumping buckets of blood on people or wanton murder. Typical stuff. Upon losing her head and the memories inside, Celty’s goals shifted to retrieving her head and her memories, hoping to discover her identity. However, over the course of twenty years, Celty began establishing her own identity, separate from her head. She took up courier work, earning herself a living wage and a strong work ethic. She started watching trashy tv shows such as Ancient Aliens or following the lives of celebrities. She started to enjoy what human life offered her.
More than anything, Celty’s become incredibly human. She’s grown more willing to befriend and protect the people around her, as well as trust them with her identity as a headless person.She’s joined online chatrooms to socialize with people she’ll never otherwise meet. She has a strong moral code, refusing to leave someone in danger and only starts a fight if it’s clear talking isn’t the answer. She’s incredibly loyal, especially to her boyfriend and other “monsters” just trying to live normal lives. She’s also uncomfortable with the obsession various sinister groups have with her head, on top of the attention she receives for being a headless rider from the police and the media.
Despite generally being a calm, collected person, Celty tends to be headstrong. She’s quick to follow any lead on the location of her head, despite any potential traps or risks. When under the belief that her head is gone forever, she impulsively attacked several criminals and accidentally revealed her headless status to the world. She’s also quick to believe most supernatural rumors, such as aliens, under the rationale that if she exists, it’s unreasonable to doubt that kind of thing.
All in all, while possessing some flaws, Celty has a good head on her shoulders.
☆INTERSTELLAR
Choice Instrument: Cello, piano, and/or drums
Rockstar Persona: As far as Celty believes, she was in a horrific car accident several years ago during an argument with her sister (who we’ll just call Sarah for convenience). While Celty survived, she sustained numerous facial scars and her vocal cords got pretty fucked up. Sarah ended up in a coma. Paying for the medical bills kept Celty in poverty until she signed onto the label. In order to cover her face and avoid plastic surgery, Celty’s entire gimmick is keeping a mask on at all times and remaining silent, only using cards or her phone to communicate in private. She can talk, but it tends to hurt and it sounds very scratchy and strained.
Celty has little to no interest in visiting Sarah in the hospital, having grown to resent taking care of her and blaming her for the other damages she’s sustained. She also dislikes vocalists, resenting their ability to, well, sing.
Overall, Celty is a very cynical, detached person. She’s not interested in dealing with any band drama or even conversing with most people, relying on notecards to control the conversation rather than use her phone to communicate. More than anything, she wants to enjoy the sweet life as much as possible. She’s developed a small self-awareness of her faults, but believes it’s impossible to genuinely improve herself. To cope, she tends to make jokes about her cynicism as well as the damage to her vocal cords.
Ideal CR: I’d like at least one person that Celty could genuinely enjoy spending time with, but I imagine that’s a hard thing to pin down until the band gets together. Otherwise, I’m generally up for anything except an already established romantic relationship.

Canon: Durarara!!
Overview: Headless horsewoman. Lost her head and memories. Been searching for it. Has found herself acting more human than supernatural monster. Essentially a normal girl, who enjoys spending time with and supporting friends. Normally cool-headed, but is terrified of aliens and cops. Has shadow powers that makes up her clothes and scythe. Her horse has taken the form of a bicycle.
Enrollment Status: Student, grade 11.
Species: Dullahan. Basically, the Celtic Grim Reaper. Dullahans (and their horse) ride through towns at night, capturing souls meant to pass on. If they are spotted by someone in the night, they'll chase that person down and dump a bucket of blood on them.
AU Overview: Celty's origins basically start in the same way as canon: she wakes up in a forest with her head missing and amnesia. She only knows three things: her name, her species, and that her head is missing. And also languages and stuff, but no one ever cares about that in amnesia plots. She spends the next few years searching for the head desperately. Eventually, she runs into a few magical folk who don't like the idea of the grim reaper causing such a fuss around the world. Stuff we can make up as we go occurs, and she ends up enrolling in St. Augustus. Despite the glamour running about, Celty feels an odd amount of embarrassment over her stump, feeling that a Dullahan not holding her head in her arms isn't really a proper Dullahan. She's ended up falling into the habit of keeping as much of her body covered as possible, through motorcycle helmets and black outfits. She doesn't realize that this kind of makes her look like a thug to most students. Now in her 11th year at St. Augustine, she's found herself hoping to befriend some of the other students at the school and help out what she's begun to consider a new home.
